The partnership with the region from SalzburgerLand has existed since 2016
For the pre-season: FC Schalke 04 and the Austrian Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region continue their successful and mutually appreciated cooperation. The new agreement of the tourism partnership, which was first concluded in 2016, will run at least until June 30, 2023.
An important cornerstone in the Knappen's summer preparation is the training camp with us in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region.
With 300 peaks over 3,000 meters, countless glaciers, waterfalls and mountain lakes, the Hohe Tauern National Park offers an unforgettable natural experience all year round, as well as the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, one of the most beautiful panoramic roads in Europe.
For the seventh time, the FC Schalke 04 licensed team traveled to Mittersill in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region to prepare for the upcoming season. They were again accompanied by numerous fans. An extensive program was put together for the fans, which once again included the Blue-White Night in Neukirchen am Großvenediger.
